Text-Based Argumentation Work Presented to National Academy of Science Board

SLI and partner researchers on the federally funded Project READI are invited to recently presented their insights about the key role of text-based argumentation in promoting science learning and literacy. Invited to a meeting hosted by The National Academies National Research Council Board on Science Education, SLI researchers Cynthia Greenleaf and Will Brown described work they are developing at the crossroads of the Next Generation Science Standards and the Common Core standards in science literacy.
